Chris Cuffaro — Sydney & Melbourne

Following the development of Chris Cuffaro | Greatest Hits at Te Puna Creative Hub in Aotearoa, the programme is planned to travel to Sydney and Melbourne, building on Cuffaro’s established exhibition history in Australia.

The proposed Australian events combine an evolving Greatest Hits exhibition with artist talks, photography workshops and supporting digital content. Drawing on more than five decades behind the camera, Cuffaro will take audiences beyond the finished image to explore the stories, relationships and creative process behind some of music photography’s most recognised work.

Sydney and Melbourne form the next stage in developing a repeatable international touring format, following earlier Australian presentations including Greatest Hits: Grunge, Greatest Hits: Australia, Pearl Jam | Alive 1991–1992 and Greatest Hits: Proof Sheets. The programme is intended to further develop and test the exhibition and education model ahead of a proposed international presentation at SXSW.
