TICKETING POLICIES

1. Overview

1.1 This Purchase Policy outlines the terms that apply when purchasing tickets through SweetOrange.App. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms, which operate alongside our [Terms of Use]. Each ticket is a revocable licence to attend a specific event and is subject to the terms stated on the ticket.

1.2 All attendees must hold a valid ticket. Late arrivals may not be admitted until an appropriate break in the event.

1.3 These terms do not limit or exclude any rights or remedies available to consumers under:

  • the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, where the event is held in New Zealand; or

  • the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), where the event is held in Australia.

2. Currency

  • Ticket prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) for events in New Zealand.

  • Ticket prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) for events in Australia.

  • Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.

3. Order Confirmation

You are responsible for confirming that your order was completed. If you don’t receive a confirmation email or page after submitting payment, contact SweetOrange.App to confirm your order.

4. Processing Fees

Tickets may include a per-ticket charge and a per-order non-refundable processing fee, covering administrative and payment costs.

5. Ticket Limits

5.1 Each event may have a ticket limit per customer, listed on the event page. This helps prevent bulk-buying and ticket scalping.

5.2 We may cancel any orders that breach ticket limits, including those using automated purchasing systems.

6. Ticket Forwarding

  • SweetOrange.App may allow ticket forwarding via your account.

  • The contract remains with the original purchaser, even if the ticket is forwarded.

  • Once the recipient accepts the forwarded ticket, the original barcode is invalidated.

  • Only the most recent ticket in the chain is valid.

  • If the event is cancelled or changed, only the original purchaser can request a refund or receive official communication.

SweetOrange.App may cancel a forwarded ticket if obtained fraudulently or in breach of terms.

7. Cancelled or Rescheduled Events

7.1 Events may be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

7.2 If the event is cancelled, refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original purchaser.

7.3 If the event is rescheduled, ticket holders will be advised of their rights to refunds or exchanges. Refund policies may vary by event.

7.4 These clauses do not override your rights under New Zealand consumer law or the Australian Consumer Law, depending on where the event is held.

8. Billing Verification

Orders are processed once billing information is verified. Incorrect billing details may delay or cancel your order.

9. Multiple Browsers

Use only one browser window when booking. Multiple windows may interfere with ticket selection or cause session expiry.

10. Event Risk Disclaimer

Objects (e.g. balls, equipment) may enter spectator areas. Attending an event involves some risk. By purchasing a ticket, you accept this risk. Nothing in this clause limits your consumer rights under applicable New Zealand or Australian law.

11. Admission Terms

11.1 Venues and presenters may refuse entry or remove attendees for disruptive or unsafe behaviour. Tickets are non-refundable in such cases.

11.2 Event details (line-ups, timings, seating) may change. Refunds will only be offered if the change is material and as required under applicable consumer law.

12. Recording and Photography

12.1 Recording or transmission of event content may be prohibited. By attending, you agree to being filmed or photographed and for your image to be used for promotional or archival purposes.

12.2 Presenters may request that mobile phones and recording devices be turned off.

13. Entry Searches

You and your belongings may be searched upon entry. Refusal may result in denial of entry without refund.

14. Resale and Commercial Use

Tickets may not be resold or used for commercial purposes without written permission from SweetOrange.App or the event organiser. Automated purchases are strictly prohibited and will result in order cancellation.
